Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam is a collective but completely independent initiative of the conference and events industry in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, that focuses on attracting and facilitating international (business) conferences and events in this municipality. The Convention Bureau advises and assists prospects clearly and transparently in their search for one or more suitable hotels, meeting locations and/or suppliers in the Haarlemmermeer area. Images
In the Event Park Amsterdam Toolkit there are images about (icons of) the Haarlemmermeer region, that help to explain the story of Haarlemmermeer. These images include portraits, which are always personal data. The Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam foundation relies on the reason of a justified interest, within the terms of the GDPR laws for the processing of these personal data. The photos published in the Toolkit are used for journalistic (or artistic) purposes. As an organisation, the Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam foundation wants to share information about the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. When selecting the photos, the organisation makes an evaluation of privacy. The images provided as materials in the Toolkit were created by professional photographers. If you appear in one of the published photos without your consent, you can send a request to be removed to info@eventparkamsterdam.com.
Retention periods
Your details will not be stored for any longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, unless there is a legal requirement to retain these data until you request us to remove your details. The email addresses that we use to send out our newsletters are kept for as long as you remain registered as a newsletter subscriber. We apply a retention limit of five years to the images in the Toolkit and on the eventparkamsterdam.com website, in order to ensure current and relevant information.
Rights
On 25 May 2018, the rules were further tightened in respect of data protection (by the General Data Protection Regulation). One part of this ensures your right to be forgotten. Do you want us to remove your data from our system? Send an email to eventparkamsterdam.com, with the subject “Remove my details” and state in this email at least your surname and the email address that you used to register. To prevent abuse, we may ask you to provide reasonable identification for this. If you want to view the personal details linked to a cookie, you need to attach a copy of the cookie involved. You can find this with the help of your browser settings. Using these data, we can identify you and delete your data. All data is sent using an SSL connection.
Amendments
This privacy statement took effect on 1 September 2018. The Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam foundation reserves the right to amend and update this privacy statement.
