Convention bureau

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam is an independent platform of 36 meeting and event organizations in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer.

We recruit and facilitate (inter) national business conferences, meetings and events and assist companies in their search for one or more suitable hotels, meeting locations and / or suppliers located in Haarlemmermeer. Where desired, we support in the first phase of creation, planning and organization. The meeting and event planner does not pay any costs for the advisory services of and/or the mediation by Event Park Amsterdam.

Among the partners of Event Park Amsterdam you will find almost all international hotel chains, many attractive event locations and professional suppliers.

We are proud to announce that Circuit Zandvoort, home of the Formula 1 Heineken, has become a partner of Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam. Circuit Zandvoort breathes pure racing history and is home to the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix. This makes it one of the most attractive and unique event locations in the Netherlands. The multifunctional venue is a stone's throw from the beach (with stunning views over the dunes) and can be used for indoor and outdoor events. A place where business, sport and entertainment come together.

New meeting facilities

"The new conference and meeting facilities are about to be completed. We would like to present them internationally. With a total of 16 meeting rooms on the circuit, almost endless outdoor possibilities and a Beach club, we offer a wonderful addition to the existing partner base of Event Park Amsterdam. We will complete the construction of our newest conference rooms at the end of May. We will then be able to host conferences for up to 560 people. The re-styling of Bernie's Bar & Kitchen is part of the extensive project." Says Kirsten Schouten.

Kirsten Schouten recently started as Executive Manager Corporate Events at Circuit Zandvoort. She is certainly no stranger to the international hospitality market. She previously worked in various commercial positions for Double Tree by Hilton, the PPHE Hotel Group and Cobraspen Group, among others.

Working together in the region

"Besides racing activities, the venue and surrounding grounds had been rented out for events for much longer. In the coming years, however, we will focus more actively on the international MICE market. In doing so, we will try to make the best use of our warm contacts in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Region. Among other things, they can make use of our worldwide reputation in Formula 1 and, where possible, we will include the hotel partners of Event Park Amsterdam in our central proposition.

You already saw during the past editions that many of the Formula 1 teams booked their hotels in Event Park Amsterdam (Municipality of Haarlemmermeer). They couldn't do better; 10 minutes from Schiphol Airport and a maximum of 20 minutes to the circuit. We are very much looking forward to expanding our cooperation". Thus Kirsten.

CVB Event Park Amsterdam

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam focuses on attracting and facilitating national and international conferences and events in the municipality. The bureau represents 36 regional hotel and event location partners, professional event suppliers and the business tourism market of Haarlemmermeer as a whole. It works closely with the municipality.

The bureau advises and supports meeting planners in their search for one or more suitable hotels, meeting venues and/or suppliers in the municipality. Upon request, the experienced bureau staff also offer support in the concrete planning and organisation of a conference, meeting or event.
