Convention bureau

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam is an independent platform of 36 meeting and event organizations in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer.

We recruit and facilitate (inter) national business conferences, meetings and events and assist companies in their search for one or more suitable hotels, meeting locations and / or suppliers located in Haarlemmermeer. Where desired, we support in the first phase of creation, planning and organization. The meeting and event planner does not pay any costs for the advisory services of and/or the mediation by Event Park Amsterdam.

Among the partners of Event Park Amsterdam you will find almost all international hotel chains, many attractive event locations and professional suppliers.

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam participant IBTM World

Press release - Event Park Amsterdam, the Convention Bureau of the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer, will once again participate in the international business tourism fair IBTM World in Barcelona from 29 November to 1 December. During this fair, Event Park Amsterdam will try to inform and inspire as many international meeting planners as possible, with the ultimate goal of enticing them to visit the green, water-rich and sustainable municipality of Haarlemmermeer.

IBTM World

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam will be part of the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) stand during IBTM World for the third time. Together with 25 more Dutch agencies and destinations, they will represent the Netherlands as a business destination. 
With 2,500 international exhibitors, 10,000 visitors, 2,500 hosted buyers and 60,000 pre-scheduled appointments, IBTM World is the leading international trade fair for the meeting, conference and event industry. Throughout the 3 exhibition days, a variety of substantive knowledge sessions will be facilitated, including the sharing of special new experiences and ground-breaking insights.  

Stand

Event Park Amsterdam can be found at stand number F30. Through the IBTM World website, it is possible to schedule a personal appointment with destination manager Michiel Smilde or Jeroen Veenstra (proud partner of Event Park Amsterdam and owner of Faircom Media). Should that no longer be possible prior to the trade fair visit, it is always possible to schedule an appointment on site.   

Convention Bureau

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam is an initiative of the congress and events sector in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer and focuses on recruiting and facilitating international (business) congresses and events in this municipality. The Convention Bureau advises and assists prospects in their search for one or more suitable Haarlemmermeer-based hotels, meeting venues and/or suppliers and, if desired, also supports them in the first phase of planning and organising a congress or event in the Haarlemmermeer event region. 

Proposition

Event Park Amsterdam is located in the middle of the Amsterdam, Haarlem and Leiden triangle and is almost always easily and quickly accessible. With Schiphol Airport, EXPO Greater Amsterdam and 36 modern hotels (together accounting for over 4,500 rooms and 8,500 beds) within its borders, Haarlemmermeer - less than a 20-minute drive from the centre of Amsterdam - is a very attractive destination for planning and organising international business meetings. Hotel rooms there are on average 30% cheaper than in the surrounding historical cities.
