Event Park Amsterdam (municipality of Haarlemmermeer) is located in the middle of the triangle of the historic cities of Amsterdam, Haarlem and Leiden. The internationally oriented green municipality has a wide range of comfortable hotels, attractive event and conference locations and professional suppliers.

As part of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, Event Park Amsterdam offers you high-quality facilities and site programs for planning and organizing your upcoming conference, meeting or event.

Convention bureau

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam is an independent platform of 36 meeting and event organizations in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer.

We recruit and facilitate (inter) national business conferences, meetings and events and assist companies in their search for one or more suitable hotels, meeting locations and / or suppliers located in Haarlemmermeer. Where desired, we support in the first phase of creation, planning and organization. The meeting and event planner does not pay any costs for the advisory services of and/or the mediation by Event Park Amsterdam.

Among the partners of Event Park Amsterdam you will find almost all international hotel chains, many attractive event locations and professional suppliers.

Board

Our board consists of five members and a secretary/destination manager. All of them are partners of the Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam foundation through their companies or organisations.

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam works closely with the Marketing & Acquisition Department of the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer. Among others, we focus on the key sectors ICT & Tech, Life sciences & Health, Consumer Goods, Energy, Logistics & Aerospace and Water Control. On Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 June 2026, Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam and its 42 partners will be organising the fourth edition of the Inspiration Event. Are you a meeting planner or event manager looking for new ideas and unique venues? Then this event will definitely be of interest to you.

Meet Smarter – Stay Greener

During this exclusive two-day Inspiration Event, we will take you on a tour of our green and sustainable municipality of Haarlemmermeer. Along the way, you will get a unique glimpse behind the scenes at more than 11 of our partner hotels and event locations.

What can you expect?

  • Two inspiring days full of special experiences
  • Meetings with fellow professionals from the meeting and event industry
  • Visits to unique locations
  • Networking opportunities, culinary surprises and plenty of fun

There will also be plenty of time to enjoy yourselves and get to know each other. You can stay overnight, both from Sunday to Monday and from Monday to Tuesday.

We promise you two days that will surprise, inspire and broaden your horizons.

Participation

Do you work as a corporate meeting planner, venue booker or event manager and/or are you responsible for organising national or international meetings or events? If so, you must meet the following conditions:

  1. At least 3 years' experience as a meeting planner, venue booker or event manager
  2. You organise or facilitate at least 4 conferences or events per year
  3. The meetings you organise have an average of more than 50 participants

Then we cordially invite you to register for our event!

  • Would you like to arrive on Sunday 14 June to avoid any crowds on Monday morning? Please indicate this when registering. Our hotel partners are happy to offer you an extra night's accommodation with breakfast.
  • It is not possible to attend only part of the programme.
  • The event is offered free of charge. Travel and parking costs will not be reimbursed.
