Convention bureau

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam is an independent platform of 36 meeting and event organizations in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer.

We recruit and facilitate (inter) national business conferences, meetings and events and assist companies in their search for one or more suitable hotels, meeting locations and / or suppliers located in Haarlemmermeer. Where desired, we support in the first phase of creation, planning and organization. The meeting and event planner does not pay any costs for the advisory services of and/or the mediation by Event Park Amsterdam.

Among the partners of Event Park Amsterdam you will find almost all international hotel chains, many attractive event locations and professional suppliers.

The Florian new partner Event Park Amsterdam

The hotel, not part of a chain, is particularly known for its special design and focus on sustainability. The hotel also cooperates with Hotels For Trees, an initiative which converts cost savings for room cleaning into newly planted trees. The Florian is a small accessible, inspiring and homely hotel that is not only available for an overnight stay. Everyone is also welcome for a delicious lunch, a nice flex-workplace, surprising meeting rooms, Personal Training in the gym or group lessons room, a culinary meal in the "Dine with Florian" restaurant or a drink at the beautiful round bar in the atrium.

Sustainable

Michiel Smilde, destination manager of Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam, is delighted to have The Florian hotel as a new partner. "It is always particularly nice to have many diverse venues. The Florian is a unique hotel with a high distinguishing factor, run by very enthusiastic hotel professionals. We notice that planners are increasingly looking for specifically sustainable venues. In that respect, The Florian fits right into the picture."

Available, accessible and affordable

The Convention Bureau's motto is the 3 Bs: available, reachable and affordable. Or, internationally, the 3 A's: available, accessible, affordable. Venues are more available than in the big surrounding cities, where (in normal times) you sometimes have to book a venue months or even years in advance. Also, accessibility is much better than in the busy city centre; with Schiphol Airport within its borders and 5,000 rooms right on the free bus lane, guests can reach their destinations within a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes. It is good to know that the largest partner venue, EXPO Haarlemmermeer, is also located on that same free bus lane. And, not insignificantly, prices are generally 30% lower than in, say, Amsterdam.
