We are looking for a higher education intern in “Hospitality, Events & Marketing Support” to start on 1 September. Would you be interested in joining our team?

Convention Bureau Event Park Amsterdam promotes Haarlemmermeer as the premier green meeting and event region next to Amsterdam. Together with over 40 hotels, event venues and other event partners, we show and help national and international organisations experience why our region is the smart and sustainable choice for planning and organising conferences, (business) events, meetings and networking gatherings.

Through creative marketing, strong PR, inspiring campaigns and attending and/or participating in trade fairs and events, we work hard every day to attract new meetings and events to our region.

What will you be doing?

No coffee-making internship. You’ll be fully involved in our day-to-day operations.

Events & Hospitality

  • Supporting partner meetings, networking events and inspiration sessions
  • Helping with venue visits, presentations and trade fair preparations
  • Supporting invitations, registrations and event scripts
  • Contributing ideas for creative concepts and activations
  • Marketing & Content
  • Managing and updating the website and partner profiles
  • Creating content for LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Writing blogs, news articles and promotional texts
  • Contributing ideas for campaigns, newsletters and visibility

Sales & Organisation

  • Maintaining CRM systems and partner information
  • Supporting enquiries and relationship management
  • Researching trends and new prospects
  • Assisting with administrative and organisational tasks

Who are we looking for?

  • HBO intern – preferably a 3rd-year student – for a period of 5 to 6 months
  • Interest in hospitality, events and tourism
  • Independent, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Communicative and team-oriented
  • Creative and organised
  • Digitally savvy and adept at social media
