  1. His own little store

    In my 2-week route through our partners last week, I had an appointment with Daniel Kaan, the new general manager of ParkPlaza Amsterdam Airport (in Lijnden). Daniel is an old acquaintance in the region. After many hotel management positions in Dubai, Nairobi, China, Bahrain and Amsterdam, among others, he became chief operations director at one of our other partner organizations in 2018: Claus Group. After a brief foray into Europarcs (2022-2024), he picked up the gauntlet in June this year, to give the beautiful Park Plaza business hotel a hefty metamorphosis.

  2. Monumental restaurant ’t Fort is serving dinner!

    During the past few months, all restaurants and bars in The Netherlands were closed in line with Dutch government regulations in order to prevent the coronavirus from spreading. The 1st of June was a celebratory day for all restaurant and bar owners, because they were allowed to open their doors again for visitors. Linked to this change in policy our partner Restaurant ‘t Fort has decided to start serving dinner three nights a week, next to their regular lunch.

  3. Adopting a tree at the Olmenhorst as a unique promotional gift

    Lisserbroek – Orchard The Olmenhorst is still open for business, even though some restrictions that were announced by the Dutch government are still in place. As of 1st June the estate is able to accept private and corporate reservations for up to 30 persons (from July 1 up to 100 persons) and welcome guests for food and drinks at the orchard as well as in one of their unique locations. Visitors can make a reservation for a barbecue, high tea, picknick or a meal in the restaurant.

  4. C-Bèta renovates old building into multiple small, sustainable office units

    Hoofddorp – The old building next to the original C-Bèta barn will be rebuild and remodeled into a half-open, half-closed office space which will increase the availability of workplaces at C-Bèta and in the surroundings of Schiphol Trade Park. Well-isolated pods will be placed on top of one another inside the renovated building, to secure private spaces. The formation of these office spaces is initiated to create an inspiring ‘playground’ with rental units for startups and scale-ups in the field of circularity.
